Cubes

These are the cubes I made in math. They weren't too hard. I call them my gambling dice. They are fun and easy to make. There were also other shapes that we could make such as triangles and other three-d shapes. We were trying to make three-d shapes and as you can see I made two cubes. We were learning to understand and make three-d shapes and learning about vertices, sides, faces, edges and corners.

My Math Pattern

This is my maths pattern that I did. There were 100 squares to colour. You either did a pattern or just random colours. I did a pattern and I was the last to finish in my class because I tried to be the neatest. Once we finished colouring, we counted the squares with blue and all the other colours. Then, we wrote the fraction, decimal and percentage of each colour. It was loads of fun and I want to do it again.

My Game

This is my game that me and Gina invented but we got the idea from a friend. We haven't completed it yet but it will be done soon. It is a math game. A fractions math game. There are six players and they are colors. It is a fun game and I hope the class will enjoy playing it.When you land on a fraction you have twenty seconds to name as many equivalent fractions as possible.

Roll and Answer

Today in maths we played a game called Roll an Answer. It tests the skills we have learned this year like rounding, place value, addition and subtraction. My group did a board about adding large numbers.

Statistics

In Room Six math class we have been doing statistical  investigations. First we learnt about stem and leaf graphs and did fun investigations on sports. We also learnt how to make graphs on Excel. We learnt how to make pie graphs and different types of bar graphs. Below are some of the graphs I have made on Excel.
